Win Bookfair Money!

Last chance! Have you registered on the PTA website and added your student and teacher info yet? If you want a shot at winning $20 to spend at the book fair, make sure you have completed these two steps by Friday!
We want to be sure that all of our families are ready when our Together We Grow fundraiser kicks off on October 18th. To participate and be entered to win prizes, you must be registered on the PTA website with your student included in your profile.
Here's what to do:
  • Register or log in
  • Go to opknightspta.com/Open_Forms and click Family Information to add/edit your student(s) and select their teacher.
  • Cross your fingers and hope that you are one of our three lucky winners!

Teacher Lunch Break

Our teachers have been going above and beyond and working with the extra safety precautions means giving up their lunch breaks. We are asking for volunteers to monitor students from a class while teachers take a much needed break to eat and take care of any personal business.

Lunch times are short and signing up for a few back-to-back would be incredible!

Please consider making an advance donation to the Scholastic Book Fair “All for Books” drive. Money collected will buy books for children at OP who cannot afford to shop the fair. Collecting money in advance will allow those children to shop with their classmates during their assigned shopping time at the book fair.

Lunch Volunteers

Our teachers have been going above and beyond and working with the extra safety precautions means giving up their short lunch breaks. Please consider signing up to sit with a class outside during lunch time so that our teachers can enjoy a well-deserved break! Lunch times are short and signing up for a few back-to-back would be incredible! We anticipate lunch coverage will be needed through November.

It's time for the first PTA meeting of the 2021-2022 school year!

CMS International Center will host back-to-school immunizations for students and COVID vaccine for students 12 years old, staff, parents, and community members.

See you at Open House this Monday, August 23rd, starting at 9:00am! To keep with CMS-mandated social distancing practices, Open House will be broken up into sections to allow all families into the building safely.

This year, Popsicles in the Park will be a Kindergarten Party in the Halls! During Open House, our Kindergarten hallway will be ready to welcome our newest knights with their teachers and a sweet treat.
